Where to stay for a romantic weekend near Turin?
The Mansarda at the Paradise B&B is made for two: an independent flat with private entrance, exposed beams, a view over the hills and a whirlpool bath. Breakfast and free parking included, no city noise, the garden yours in the evening.
One practical tip: book two nights, not one. A single night is eaten up by arriving and leaving; with two, Saturday stays whole and the bath stops being a listing detail and becomes the best part of the evening.
Day one
Afternoon: arrival and the hill. Leave the car and take the trail: the Turin hill nature park starts here, through chestnut woods and clearings, with the city appearing between the trees.
Evening: dinner. Two options. On the hill, between Pino Torinese, Chieri and Baldissero, there are trattorias serving classic Piedmontese cooking — agnolotti, tajarin, brasato — a few minutes away by car. Or drive down to the centre: ten to fifteen minutes and you are in the Quadrilatero for a Turinese aperitivo, which here is a small meal in itself.
After dinner: the bath. It is why you choose this room. Back home, low lights, real silence.
Day two
Early morning: Superga. The basilica is a short drive away. Its terrace looks over the whole plain to the Alps: on a clear morning, early, it is the best sight of the weekend.
Breakfast in the garden, weather permitting.
Midday: Turin or the Langhe. For the city: the Egyptian Museum, the Mole Antonelliana, Palazzo Reale, Parco del Valentino, all walkable once you have parked outside the restricted zone. For the countryside: the Langhe are about forty minutes away, for lunch among the vineyards.
An unhurried return. Check-out is the next morning, so the afternoon is still yours.
When to come
Spring and early autumn are the best times: the garden is usable, the hills green or red, the city uncrowded. Winter makes sense precisely because of the bath, and in December the city adds its Luci d'Artista light installations. August is the quietest month on the hill.
What it costs

In short
Two nights, a whirlpool bath, woods starting behind the house and Turin ten minutes away: it is the easiest romantic weekend to organise near the city, because it does not ask you to choose between nature and the old town.
